Learning powers
As a learning provider we recognise that life skills which we apply to our work need to be explicitly taught for children to be able to reflect and identify their own strengths and areas for development. We have identified four areas which we feel will equip the children with the early skills necessary for life long enjoyment of learning and enables them to be good citizens in society, as well as linking to the ‘Characteristics of Effective Learning’ as defined in the statutory EYFS Framework. During their time with us at Playdays, they work towards achieving all four areas. When they reach this goal, we say they have ‘The Power’ and reward them with a special golden star sticker.
